General Information

The following information gives a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website.

Data Collection on This Website

Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator:

How Do We Collect Your Data?

Your data is collected automatically by the IT systems when you visit the website (e.g. browser, operating system, time of the page visit).

2. Hosting

This website is operated by Miarto Solutions. The technical infrastructure (server) is provided by an external provider (Netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany). The personal data collected on this website is stored on the host's servers.

3. General Information and Mandatory Notices

Privacy Policy

We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

Withdrawal of Your Consent to Data Processing

You can withdraw consent you have already given at any time. An informal email is sufficient.

SSL and TLS Encryption

For security reasons, this site uses SSL encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser's address bar starts with "https://".

4. Data Collection on This Website

Cookies

This website uses technically necessary cookies (login, language preference). No other cookies are used.

Guestbook Comments

For each exhibition, you can leave a comment in the guestbook. We store the name you provide, your comment, the date and time of submission and – only if you choose to provide it – your email address. Your email address will not be published and will only be used to contact you if we have any questions regarding your comment.

Comments are reviewed before publication (moderation). Only the name provided and the text of approved comments will be displayed publicly. Your IP address is not stored permanently; it is processed temporarily in memory solely to prevent misuse by limiting the number of comments submitted (a maximum of five comments per hour).

We store comments until they are deleted by the exhibition organisers or until the respective exhibition or this website is removed. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in providing and moderating the guestbook and preventing misuse in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

You may request the deletion of your comment at any time by sending an email to the address provided in the legal notice (Imprint).

Automatic review of uploaded images

Images uploaded for this website are automatically checked for impermissible content (e.g. pornographic or openly explicit depictions) before they may be published. For this purpose the image is transmitted over an encrypted connection to the Cloud Vision API of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), which acts as a processor through a European service endpoint. A rating (likelihood levels) is returned; we do not pass the image itself on to any other third party.

For each image we store the result of the check and its time for as long as the image is stored. Images with a conspicuous or inconclusive result are not published but reviewed manually by the website management. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the platform and third parties from unlawful content and in enforcing our terms of use under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Reporting content

You can use the report form to report content that you consider unlawful. We store the reported content or its address, the reason you chose, your explanation, the time, your name (voluntary) and your email address (except for reports about child abuse, where it is voluntary), as well as your declaration that your statements are correct. Your IP address is not stored; to prevent abuse it is only processed temporarily in memory in order to limit the number of reports.

The data is used exclusively to process the report: for the confirmation of receipt, follow-up questions and to tell you the decision with reasons. We delete your name and email address no later than six months after the decision; we keep the report itself (without contact data) as evidence of the procedure. Where there is a sufficiently substantiated suspicion of serious criminal offences, we may be obliged to inform the competent authorities. The legal basis is our legal obligation and our legitimate interest in processing reports under Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR in conjunction with Arts. 16 to 18 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065.

7. Objection to Promotional Emails

The use of contact data published within the scope of the legal notice obligation for sending unsolicited advertising is hereby objected to.
